Dear Brothers and Sisters: May the peace of the Lord be with you. So much has passed during these past months that we cannot even express with words God’s faithfulness in our lives and ministry in the Atlantic Coast of Nicaragua. Therefore, we come along David in Psalm 68:4-6a that says: “Sing to God, praise in his name, extol him who rides on the clouds—his name is the Lord—and rejoice before him. A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. Click on either picture to enlarge. Progress in Kukra HillThe church continues to grow and develop. You will see pictures of the after-school program, the property that was donated to the church and Joel also. Pictures of Holy WeekDuring the recent holy week, the church hosted about 1600 people throughou the week at the various events. Safe Harbor OpensThe first two children moved into Safe Harbor recently and more are on the way. Read more about what God is doing through this ministry. Soccer Team SuccessThe girls soccer team is winning more than just games. Young ladies are being won for the Lord and brought into His kingdom - victories that never end. Bleachers A team came from the US and helped to build a retaining wall by the sport court that will also serve as bleachers. You can click on the picture to the right to get a larger view of the bleachers. Mother's Day The nation celebrated another mothers day on 30 May and Iglesia Bethel celebrated it on June 3. The church recently held a children's festival and the pictures are here. The RoadThe road was completed last December. It went as far as the Catholic church, but the government is promising to take it about 100 feet further to the bridge. Get pics. The completion of the road thus far has helped the church to become much more accessible for parents who want to send their children to the after-school program.
Missionaries Vital and Ketly Pierre have been working in Bluefields, Nicaragua since 1999 and have been blessed with a good group of dedicated believers who are focused on reaching their world. Please be in prayer for the church as they continue to pray and plan for the future. God is doing exciting things in this ministry .
